Joburg Express: AAAKEE Donates Food Parcels to the Westbury Musjid

In the 21 – 27 April 2011 issue of a local newspaper, the Jo’burg Express, AAAKEE was featured for the donation of food and groceries to the Jumma Musjid and Educational Institute.

We’d like to thank Joburg Express for taking the time to cover this donation – it is always wonderful to see our efforts being publicised.

This article was published by a Joburg Express Community Reporter in the April 21 – 27, 2011 issue:

The AAAKEE company donated food parcels to the Jumma Musjid & Educational Institute in Westbury Darul-Uloom last week leaving all a happy lot.

Odin Middleton, spokesperson of AAAKEE, said: “[…] We would like to thank all the donors that made the food consignment possible. We as a non-profit organisation are dedicated to be involved with an institute like [Westbury] Jumma Masjid and Educational Centre.”

The Westbury Centre is run by Hajee Lufee Abrahams and apart from offering normal Muslim needs, it also runs a training educational centre for [the] Muslim youth. Abrahams said he was delighted with the donation from AAAKEE as it came at the right time for his youth.
