Golf Challenges

In order to assist us in raising the necessary funds for our various projects and initiatives, we hold fundraising events each year – typically in the form of golf challenges.

Typically, we hold two golf challenges each year: one in April/May, and the other in September/October. A venue is selected at least two months before the event is set to take place, and we then begin advertising the event to the public.

We play in the four-ball betterball format each year. We score on the Stableford scoring system, and award prizes to the winner and runner-up, as well as to the players who made the longest drive, and hit nearest to the pin.

On the evening of each event, players are invited for dinner and prize-giving in the selected venue’s dining hall, after which an auction is held by Off Course Golf Promotions.

All funds raised from our golf challenges are used for our various projects on hand, mostly for the Food and Active Education Funds.

If you would like to contribute to our cause and partake in a golf challenge, please contact us with the details. The cost to partake are determined before each challenge, and can be obtained by getting in touch with us.
