Food Fund Consignment to Lerato Child & Youth Care Centre
On 3 October 2015, AAAKEE handed over food and groceries to the Lerato Child & Youth Care Centre in Meyerton, which currently caters for just under 20 previously disadvantaged children.
The consignment included non-perishable foods, as well as household groceries.
The home does not receive financial aid from the state, and so depends on donations from the private sector for its requirements.
