Much needed food and groceries to Simunye Care Centre
In early March, we signed up a new children’s home in Deneysville, Sasolburg, called Simunye Care Centre. The home caters for approximately fifteen children, some of which no longer have parents. Whilst providing a residential facility, the home also offers basic education to these children, teaching them the fundamentals that they need to know.
For quite some time, the children did not have healthy food available, and were even constricted to bread alone. So, on Saturday, 31 March 2012, we donated much-needed food and grocery parcels to the home, in an effort to alleviate their lack of basic requirements, and put some smiles on more faces.
The parcels included vital food requirements, as well as a variety of other groceries.
